About the event
A writer's block usually comes disguised. It lurks on the blank page, paralyzes pen and keys, and empties the fridge. Not in this course!
With snappy writing exercises, we put words on paper that make our wirter's block forget that there even is a fridge, that that sheet of paper ever was white. The novel is almost finished - maybe not - but with a few techniques and especially as a group, we can overcome blockages and learn something about our writing.
Who is brave? Previous knowledge is not required. Just come and write along.

Leonie Winter, from Munich, has a background in literature and media management and is part of the core team of Turtle Magazin(e). She started writing at a young age and hasn't stopped since. Why does she write poetry? To tell stories, to understand. Writing sets her free, helps her sort out her thoughts, and understand. Escapism is another side effect. At first, there was only the word, and then more came: a text.
Anna Job overcame some blockages with a lot of chocolate and has been writing a lot since then. Often without chocolate. As a freelance author and (UX) copywriter, she lives in Munich, writes for the Turtle Magazin(e), and was a fellow at the Bavarian Academy of Writing. Her books "Salzige Milch" (2024) and "Muschmamm" (2025), illustrated by Corinna Pourian, will be published by Kunstanstifter Verlag.
